• Current funding: NIDCD [National Institutes of Health].
  • Past funding: Deafness Research Foundation; Summer Faculty Fellowship, Indiana University, Bloomington.
  • Research Software: Software for recording and analysis of otoacoustic emissions is developed and maintained by Professor Carrick Talmadge of the University of Mississippi. We develop all other software inhouse. This includes custom software for speech-in-noise testing and threshold tracking. Our algorithm for hearing threshold tracking is motivated by Professor Jonathan Siegel's application of the Revitt (1971) algorithm. These applications are developed on Max/MSP in our laboratory.
  • Web Site: This web site is my laboratory to learn about new technologies and programming languages. My learning about web-technologies is mostly encounter driven; I see something on some site and think, "I wonder how that is done?" That initiates a few days, weeks or months of intense reading and trying. Some of these exercises end up with specific implementations on the website.
